Samak Curd Rice - samak ke chawal or barnyard millet curd rice can be eaten by those fasting during navratri.
Recipe:-
Dry roast millet for 1-2 minutes
Pressure cook 1/2 cup millet to 1.5 cups water so it’s good for making curd rice.
Give one whistle then lower the flame and cook for 5 minutes.
Curd, Cucumber, Pomegranate (anar), green chilies, coriander leaves, Kala namak to taste.
I didn’t add Tempering as mustard is not allowed, but if you want you can add tempering with oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
