Looking for something super healthy for evening snacks. Do try out these super easy JOWAR MUTHIYA


  1. Add in lot of chopped veggies of your choice like cabbage, carrot coriander etc
  2. Add in chopped ginger and green chilli
  3. Add basic masalas like turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt & garam masala
  4. Add 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  5. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  6. Add in 1.5 cups of Sorghum flour/ Jowar flour
  7. Add in half cup suji
  8. Half cup curd
  9. Mix well and form a thick batter
  10. Roll in into logs with greased hands
  11. Steam it for about 20 minutes
  12. For the tadka in hot oil add mustard seeds and let them splutter
  13. Add asafoetida, curry leaves & while sesame seeds
  14. Cut the muthiyas into required shape and grill them with tadka on low flame.
