Love coconut and its nutritiousness! Welcome to our latest addition to the super healthy flour range - Coconut Flour.  Made from the dried meat of the coconut it retains all the goodness of the coconut. 

Recipe:

Ingredients

  • Raw rice - 4 cups
  • Cooked boiled rice - 4cups
  • Coconut flour - 1 cup
  • Baking soda - 2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Sugar - if needed
  • Water - as required to grind

 

Method:

  1. Wash n soak the raw rice overnight.
  2. Next day, drain off the excess water n then using a mixer grinder grind it with sufficient amount of water.
  3. Add all the ingredients except salt into the grinded rice batter. Combine well and keep it in a warm place for the fermentation for 8 to 12 hrs.
  4. Next day, add salt to the batter and combine well.
  5. Heat Appachatti/pan used for making hoppers n spread some oil.
  6. Pour 1 to 1 1/4 ladle of appam batter and spread the batter exactly as shown in the video. Cook in low medium flame till the sides becomes a little bit crunchy. Done👍 You can serve it along with veg or non veg dishes.
  7. Remember to use good quality baking soda for better results.
