This festive season try “Sweet Jaggery Roti” from Maharashtrian cuisine to satisfy your soul . It is soft, flavourful, mildly sweet in taste and can be served with spicy peanut chutney & with milk … heaven 😋😍
Ingredients:-
Nuttyyogi multi millet flour 2 cups
1/4 cup Nutty Yogi organic jaggery powder
1/3 cup water
Nutty Yogi ghee as required
Spices …..
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp dry ginger powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
Pinch of salt ( optional)
Method:-
In a bowl take jaggery powder and add water/ milk to it. Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely.
In a kadai , add the dissolved mixture, other ingredients. Boil it for 2-3 mins .
cool down little bit and add the multi millet flour & knead into a semi soft dough.
Cover the dough and set aside for about 15- 20 minutes.
knead again & make a small ball . Roll out the balls carefully with little flour or oil/ghee like Chapati ( little thick not thin )
Now roast both the sides with ghee.
Serve with spicy chutney.
