The dish is inspired by Indonesian coconut pancakes I have made waffles and tweaked the recipe according to our preference. This is totally vegetarian and I haven't used pandan leaves or paste as the original recipe.


For pancakes:

  • Maida 1/2 cup
  • Coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup Coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp Coconut milk as required
  • Salt a pinch
  • Vanilla essence a few drops

For sweetened coconut milk:

  • Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Coconut sugar 3 tbsp
